Papertrey February Blog Hop Challenge

Our very sophistocated looking inspiration photo:

At first the 'no white' challenge scared me...but the picture has some very lovey colors and it grew on me. My goal was to capture some of those colors.

I ink blended Smoky Shadow on the edge of a grey base. Embossed leaves from Wee Folk in gold. I used Quick Stitch Sentiments dies with pink floss for the sentiment. The flowers are from One Big Happy. A jewel add the final bling touch.

What a fun challenge this was and I hope to use some of my 'left over' pieces to make a few more cards like it. I wanted a to add some Saffron Spice, but I didn't get time to play with it yet.

Happy Hop!

There are too many good 2014 sets and this being the year I discovered PTI I own a few! And I still have a lot on my wish list...but I just had to play with my newest 2014 set:

Thanks to the kindest of PTI to re-release this kit I finally own the Tinsel and Tags kit and did such a happy dance when it arrived! I made this New Home ornament for my cousin and his family!

Celebrating the Past, Present and Future: 2013

Celebrating on and was very drawn to Melissa sweet flower card:

I pulled out what sets I did own like One Big Happy and Stylized Autumn and made this inspired card:

This is not my typical style and I still couldn't get as shabby chic as Melissa, but it it was fun and turned out pretty well.

CELEBRATING THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE: 2012

The celebration continues and how sweet was this new beauty by Keeway:

and I 'nailed' it...that's the joke for totally did not =)

I did not have this fun 2012 word set, but I thought maybe I could use Oh Holy Night and Petite Places Nativity to make an inspired Christmas card:

It's just ok and I don't know if I could every send a rainbow Christmas card =)
So I tried one more that I could actually see myself sending...it just had to be monochromatic:

Celebrating the Past, Present and Future: 2011

I wish I had some of the sweet 2011 sets! But instead I was inspired by Wanda's sweet (or sour) card -

 - to play with the sets I do have!
I used Bowl of Sunshine and the Shakers and Sprinkles stamps, along with some pretty paper to make a happy, sunny yellow, inspired card:

"Celebration time - Come on!"

Celebrating the Past, Present and Future: 2010

I don't own any 2010 sets but was inspired by Michelle's lovely craft card:

Its was a beautiful way to use smaller stamps. So I grabbed my Clipsters set and played with the small candle image:

Have a great day!

Celebrating the Past, Present and Future: 2009

The celebration continues and the featured 2009 sets are beautiful! I would have wanted them all.
I was inspired -like a few of you - by Laurie's new beauty:

I grabbed my Fancy That set to see if I could make an inspired card:

MAKE IT MONDAY #275

STAMPED DANGLES

Dangling past my bed time =)
But it is sure relaxing fun.

Good night!

CELEBRATING THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE: 2008

CELEBRATING THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE: 2008

I don't own a 2008 set but was drawn to the Floral Frenzy set and Amy Rysavy's card:

It is a fun brown and pink card. So I grabbed the closest inks I had, Stylized Autumn- it reminded me of Floral Frenzy, Song Birds, and One Big Happy to make my card:

Sure was some floral fun =)
Have a super Sunday!

CELEBRATING THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE: 2007

CELEBRATING THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE: 2007

Papertrey Ink is celebrating! I'm excited to play along.
I found PTI in 2014 - just yesterday right =) So I don't have a 2007 set but I was drawn to the Text Boxed set and Nicholes lovely green card:

Here is my inspired card:

I repeatedly stamped 'praying for you' then clear embossed my leaves and sponged on green till the leaves appeared! I added a little stitching detail to my background.
Gold thread and a light green button finished the card.

Supplies
Simply Chartreuse Ink
Songbirds
Praying For You

Thanks for stopping by!
I'm looking forward to the rest of the celebration and seeing all the neat projects!
Have a great weekend,
Noelle

MAKE IT MONDAY #274

PATTERN PLAY WITH DIE CUT SILHOUETTES

What a great challenge to help me use some the pretty papers I have collected!

How about a sweet deer and some purple papers:

These other cards I kept simple and worked with one pattern paper...guess i'm not to
good at mixing =)

Yesterday my girls and I were playing with their Spirograph set and I actually followed some directions- I never did that when I was a kid- it made these awesome stars. I turned them into cards so I could share them:

Hope you have a wonderful week!
