Firsts

A Day of Firsts

My first Papertrey Ink order came today!
It was my first time using a die with my cutting machine!
It was my first time trying to deboss!
It's the first time I can play along with Make It Monday!

Sometimes I feel like I need embellishment lessons =) I am such a minimalist!
Simple yet sweet!

Showers

I had the pleasure of designing a bridal shower invitation and then a year later a baby shower invitation for a dear friend:

These were printed on shiny paper
We also did envelope wraps:

The baby shower invitations matched her nursery set!

Boy Birthday Invitations

I feel so lucky to have been asked to make a little boys Birthday invitation two years in a row!
It's a challenge and so much fun to get out my my normal girly ways.
This year was a Luchador theme (yes I had to google Luchador)

Last year was a Superhero Academy

Both are mailable postcards.
Blanks are left on purpose so the mother can just fill in the information as she plans.

Popsicle Craze

My Aunt so sweetly retired all her crafting supplies to me! Whahooo! One of my favorite stamps was this cute Popsicle so I played:

I also was inspired by a Papertrey Ink video to play with a watercolor background. And found out I really like the watercolor look!
