 PATTERN PLAY WITH DIE CUT SILHOUETTES

What a great challenge to help me use some the pretty papers I have collected!

How about a sweet deer and some purple papers:

These other cards I kept simple and worked with one pattern paper...guess i'm not to 

good at mixing =)

Yesterday my girls and I were playing with their Spirograph set and I actually followed some directions- I never did that when I was a kid- it made these awesome stars. I turned them into cards so I could share them:

Somedays having kids in the craft room takes extra patience, but I know one day I'll have more time to make things but my craft buddies will be gone and I will miss them. So I say an extra patience prayer and enjoy our time together.

2016 A La Carte

Make It Monday #264: Die-cut Stencil Shapes

 the first time around. So I made a fox die-cut stencil and planed on blending a soft winter glow around it. Then things got dark and crazy and I got this instead:

A back ground with circles, water dots, and snowflakes! I wanted an arctic fox. So I embossed the fox in white on velum and placed some foam squares behind him so you could see his face.

Leaves, berries, and a sentiment finished my card.

 I wouldn't say I 'nailed it' as far as the technique goes, but I the end result was a sweet card.
