WHITE ON WHITE DIE CUTS WITH A POP OF COLOR

This technique has the potential for clean, simple and elegant.
It turned out to be a little harder than I thought =) But a fun challenge!

Ok the to do list calls.
Have a blessed day!

Papertrey April Blog Hop Challenge

Go Bold

Here was our lovely inspiration photo. Navy and pink - this is why I love challenges - I don't think I would have gone towards that color combination otherwise! I also learned if you don't you don't have  a striped paper it is easy to make and it add a beautiful bold look.

Bold navy stripes and pink flowers. It was so fun getting to use my new Mini Blooms set!

Bold navy stripes and pink 'hello' But in looking at photo some more I notice the white embossed glass. So the butterfly - if you could see closer - is dry embossed with polka dots. The top butterfly layer is acetate inspired by the clear sparkly glass.

Thanks for the challenge Papertrey Ink! I'm excited to see what everyone made.
Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Double Partial Die Cutting

What a smart technique at PTI this week! I grabbed 'Desktop Design' and had fun trying it out:

a glossy red typewriter in a pretty window

a glossy green typewriter. I really like this card, then it fell on to an open ink pad...ahhhha! I'm not the only who does this right? I went back later and inked it all up so it looked like I meant to do it =)

a sparkly red typewriter on ledger paper in a square window.

Then one card not using the technique but I couldn't stop with this sweet typewriter! I used washi tape to make some sweet pattern typewriters and then paper piece then in to a card.

Have a blessed day and a wonderful EASTER!
He has Risen!
(Goal: next year I'll be on top of making Easter cards right!?)
