The new Mix and Match dies made me think of the Post & Parcel kit.

I was inspired to use a Post & Parcel die as a mat in my card:

I'm a little late to the Petite Places party, but I got a few new sets that I have been having fun with! The Sweet Shop and the City Station. Here's some more just for fun:

It's officially summer at our house now that we finished our homeschool year! So I've been having a little summer fun myself =)

Once again, lots of pretty projects this month! I look forward to what each day of the release brings. And you can't go wrong with butterflies =)

I was drawn to Laurie's design:

I liked how you could dress up a lovely background with a few simple, white elements!

So here was my take:

I had to flip the design because my background had an 'oops'.

I tried a watercolor lifting technique to make the background.(http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2016/02/watercolor-lifting.html)

Then did some partial die cutting on my vellum.

There are always too many lovely projects to choose from. This week I spotted Maile's card with a simple yet sophistocated black and white floral pattern. 

Inspiration:

I hadn't tried that often, so I went for it:

I tried to keep this first one simple so it could be sent to a male if needed. Then I did a set of white & colors with sequins:

I have a goal of making about 70 'praying for you cards' to be able to give to BSF leaders for them to use. I am slowly getting there =) Hopefully by next fall.

My husband has been giving me a hard time for listening to a little Christmas music while I craft =)

I was inspired by many cards, but only had time for one.

"Christmas time is here" well not yet but if you want to make anything for Christmas it's a good time to get started! =) I have been enjoying seeing PTI's new stamps this month. Among a ton of amazing projects was this beauty from Betsy:

I wondered if I could create a 'folk' Christmas card and just had to try!!:

I used the 'Wee Folk' set and the 'Clipsters' set.

I probably should have been doing some work, but I had so much fun =)

I think the top card needs a little something more too...maybe some stitching?

Inspiration all over and the PTI release is not over yet! 

When I saw Lizzy Jones' card I knew I wanted to try that neat die-cut window look!

And aren't those pumpkins so cute!

Here's my inspiration:

and here's my card:

I did some 'smooshing' then used the bird stamps and dies from the 'Wee Folk' set to create the card. I liked how one of Lizzy's die-cut pumpkins went off the edge, so I had to try that too.

Then I finished it up with the 'Praying For You' set.

Great idea! I was missing the make it Monday this week! 

I thought I would make a card where a little banner from 'Clipsters' was hanging off of a 'Swoosh' word. But just that wasn't enough for a card and I didn't know what else to do till I saw Maile's beautiful cards! 

Love the angles. So I added one to my card (plus a few sequins) and my card was now complete.
