Create a Winter Scene

 Hello blog world,

Long time no see. In my disappointment with big tech I have come back to the blog. I loved Instagram though...it was so fast to post on! So if you know a good alternative let me know.

The newest PTI challenge was to create a winter scene. My project went 3D as my winter scene became a little ornament!

It starts out in a box. Then opens!

I used PTI ink and the Petite Places church set and the Petite Places Nativity for my sentiment.

A silloutte machine was used to cut my box and tiny wreath and bow for my church door.

I wish you a blessed Christmas! -Noelle

Blog Hop Challenge

Hello Blog! It's been a long time! Last fall my sweet husband bought me an iPad with nice camera. I discovered how fast and easy I could post on Instagram! So Instagram is where I will most likely be found from now on. But I thought I should pop in here and say so =)

Here was our lovely inspiration photo this month:

I took the beautiful colors and made a few Easter cards:

Thanks for stopping in and I wish you all a wonderful Holy Week!

November Blog Hop

Here is our lovely Thanksgiving inspiration.

I wanted to make some Thanksgiving favors for our guests. I also wanted to play with my new Winter Wonderland Kit. So I took the plaid and browns for the photo, Betsy's neat favor idea and made these:

Not only are they cute, there is chocolate inside!

Here is one Winter Wonderland fall tip: When you cut out the trees, save the top most section that you would throw away. Turn it upside down, trim it and it looks like a bat!

How fun would that be for a Halloween card!

We are still enjoying guest. So have a happy hop y'all!

MAKE IT MONDAY #301

MATTING WITH GLITTER

Ooo glitter! Of course I have a lifetime stash that doesn't get used too often =) Lizzie gave us some wonderful tips for using glitter.

My card was busy, so my glitter mat is simple:

Letterpress detail:

I did a letterpress technique with Rustic Wreath, added snowflakes from Quilted Winter,
a sentiment from Christmas Cheer and pink sequins to finish.

I will need to try this some more. I really liked Lizzie's cards with the curved/decorative edges of glitter!

Have a wonderful weekend,
Noelle

Our inspiration:

I was inspired by the third picture and the fifth, and knew I had to have a mountain card:

It ended up being a mountain card with a letterpress look:

So I kept the card really simple so it didn't distract from the letterpress look. An the less cute details the more the card will work as a masculine card. Always need more of those!

A letterpress watercolored mountain from Scene it: Mountain View die
and a hello from You've Been Framed: Hexagon Mini.

The letterpress tutorial I was inspired to try: http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2017/10/die-cut-letterpress-giveaways.html

Have a happy hop!
